Dear Colleagues, DAS Volunteers, and Valued Stakeholders in the Healthcare Sector,

We are delighted to invite you to the 14th Sterilization and Disinfection Congress, which will take place in Marmaris, Muğla, from December 4th to 8th, 2024. The theme of this year’s congress is inspired by the wise words of Mevlana: “Set out on your journey, and the path will reveal itself to you.” This inspirational saying emphasizes the importance of taking action and making efforts. It symbolizes courageously overcoming obstacles and challenges.

The fundamental goal of the medical profession and all stakeholders involved in healthcare service delivery is to protect and improve human health. However, without a healthy environment and other healthy living beings, individual human health alone is not achievable. In healthcare service delivery, we aim to benefit from scientific and technological advancements while ensuring that these services do not harm the environment.

In this context, our congress aims to share the latest developments and innovations in the field of disinfection, sterilization, and antisepsis within the healthcare sector. We strive to take significant steps toward providing safer and higher-quality healthcare services.

Our congress will bring together esteemed scientists and experts from both national and international arenas, creating an excellent platform for knowledge and experience sharing. The scientific program will cover essential topics such as infection control, central sterilization units, disinfection facilities, waste management, biosafety measures, and advancements in this field.
Additionally, based on the lessons learned during the pandemic, we will discuss how to better prepare for future health threats.
